As Jacob's practice developed over the past decade-plus, he
began to focus on appellate advocacy. He has been recognized five times as a
rising star in appellate litigation by Mid-South Super Lawyers Magazine. He is
also an inaugural member of The Mississippi Bar's Appellate Practice Section.

Jacob has successfully defended court decisions before appellate
panels including the Mississippi Supreme Court, the Fifth Circuit Court of
Appeals, and the Oklahoma Supreme Court. He has presented oral argument in
matters pending before the Mississippi Court of Appeals and the Oklahoma
Supreme Court.

Jacob has been given the opportunity to represent many kinds of clients in an array
of practice areas. From international property insurers and national energy

Jacob is an active member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church, where he is a vestry member. He has taught Sunday school to elementary school students and recently served on the by-laws review committee. As a former college track and field athlete, Jacob has served as a volunteer official for several high school and college track meets in Mississippi and Alabama.
